Be kind to the environment.
Be less wasteful.

Our day to day choices make a big impact on the amount of waste we produce. Take us through your typical day and we’ll see what you can do to be less wasteful.

The journey to zero-waste

It's not an easy journey. There will be challenges along the way, but we can be your guide.

Keep the earth beautiful

Reducing your waste has a positive impact of the environment around us. That means cleaner oceans and streams. It's not summer without a dip in the ocean.

Sweet morning nectar

Everyone loves coffee but we ca ndo without single use cups. They can't easily be recyclable and there's a much better alternative. Use a keep-cup instead, it cuts down on waste. A coffee a day creates 7 cups that go to landfill.

Say no to plastic cutlery

It's difficult to justify the need for single-use cutlery. If you're at home or at work, use the cutlery you have available. You don't expect to be able to cut anything with that plastic knife anyway. Do you?

Helen Simonson

"One thing I cannot do is crack is reducing my waste because everything is too hard, everything has packaging. I want to know how can we make it seem easy so I can do it and not feel guilty."

Seth Corker

"You have to start somewhere. A journey to zero-waste starts with recognizing you need to make a change. Take what I say with a grain of salt, I helped build 'Be Less Wasteful', so of course I'm going to say it's great!"

Pearl Robin

"As individuals we create 3,200 kilograms of waste each year. Everybody sees all the things about climate change and, you know, our grandchildren will be swimming in rubbish...What would the world look like if each individual was responsible for the waste we make?"
